Leigh Nash -Sixpence None the Richer

Angelic. That’s the first word that comes to mind when I look at this photo of Leigh Nash of Sixpence None the Richer. She started singing at the age of 12, and in the early ‘90’s the band Sixpence None the Richer came into being, and took off with several huge hits such as the singles, “Kiss Me,” and “Don’t Dream it’s Over.” I had the pleasure of meeting her backstage, along with all of the other band members who are out touring in promotion of their new album, “Lost in Translation.” Make sure you listen to their new music. You’re sure to fall in love.

Columbus, Ohio

Once again, it has snowed in Columbus, Ohio... I was so cold, and wanted to sip my warm hot chocolate, so... I stayed inside and took this one from my front porch. The hearts remind me of the Lovely Weddings I have coming up, and of many I still have to show you. They're on their way now... Stay warm.

Love in Gahanna: Tasha & Shawn

Who says it can't be love at first sight? For Tasha & Shawn, they found each other and the rest is history in the best possible way! I have had a wonderful time with this couple, they're both soft-spoken, and very pleasurable to be around.

Tranquility

The majestic nature of this photograph leaves me quite... speechless. You don't have to say much to feel it very deeply, but I tend to say a lot anyway. It was a brisk morning at Hoover Dam in Westerville, Ohio. I had been there when it was too dark at night and always meant to come back with my camera one day when I had the proper lighting... So, I put on three or four layers of clothes, packed my Nikon camera and a favorite lens in the back of my car and drove the journey from my house to this beautiful place. The sun was rising much faster than anticipated, so I had to work fast, taking multiple pictures of the sailboats along the docks, the mother birds gathering food for their new babies, and a wonderfully cool breeze from the air... for me, paradise.
